Political Science/International Relations

Cottey College invites applications for a full time, tenure track position in International Relations, starting August 2015. We seek candidates with broad training in International Relations and Political Science, with interests and training to develop and offer courses that will complement existing introductory and upper level courses in International Relations. Teaching interests such as Public Policy and Administration; International Law; American Foreign Policy; Political Philosophy; Area Studies (Europe, Africa, or Latin America) preferred. The successful candidate will have demonstrated interest in college teaching; teaching load typically includes four courses each semester. PhD required; ABD considered. Student Disability Services, Academic Advising, Student Success Programming

Cottey College, a leading private liberal arts college for women, seeks a full-time staff member to coordinate student disability services, coordinate and deliver student success initiatives such as an academic strategies course and a summer bridge program, and serve as the director of the academic advising and tutoring programs. This is a twelve-month position reporting to the vice president for academic affairs and working in collaboration with the faculty, the student life staff, the career and transfer planning coordinator, and the international education and international student support coordinator. College Math Tutor

Cottey College, a private liberal arts college for women in Nevada, Missouri, invites applications for a part-time professional math tutor. Duties include one-on-one and small group tutoring in mathematical subjects at a college level for both Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 semesters, averaging five to eight evening hours per week. Head Tennis Coach

Cottey College is seeking a Head Tennis Coach. This is a part-time position. Duties include developing a yearly budget for the Tennis program, recruiting student-athletes, coaching tennis, and complying with the NJCAA rules and regulations.
