Vice President for Enrollment Management

Cottey College, an independent, liberal arts and sciences women’s college in Nevada, Missouri, seeks a dynamic and experienced Vice President for Enrollment Management (VPEM) to help the institution attain new levels of growth, achievement and distinction. The position is currently open and an appointment by late August 2015 is anticipated.

The Vice President for Enrollment Management supervises all recruitment functions including admissions, financial aid, identification of appropriate candidates, and communication with applicants and potential applicants. The VPEM will oversee a recruitment program that is national in scope with emphasis, as well, in the local area and in selected international locations. The VPEM reports directly to the President and serves on the President’s Council.

Assistant Director, Annual Fund and Alumnae Relations

Mathematics

Cottey College, a leading private liberal arts college for women, invites applications for a full-time, one-year faculty position in mathematics, starting August 2015. The teaching load is 12 to 14 hours each semester; assigned courses could range from Intermediate Algebra through Calculus. Ability to teach Statistics is desirable. Individuals who are ABD and seeking teaching experience, a new graduate (master’s or doctorate) willing to take a one-year position, or a retired professor are encouraged to apply. Adjunct Assistant Professor of Digital Art/Photography

Cottey College, a private liberal arts college for women, is seeking an adjunct faculty member in digital art and photography to fulfill an appointment for the 2015-2016 academic year. The selected candidate will teach three credit hours (1 course) per semester.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Preference will be given to applicants holding an MFA in related arts practice.
  • Experience in teaching the following is preferred: Introduction to Digital Art, Digital Photography
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Ability to work with PC computers.
  • The ideal applicant will be able to work in tandem with other faculty members within the art department, communicating in regards to curriculum and syllabus issues.
  • An ability to work with students of all experience levels is required.
