Distinguished Speaker Series Resumes Feb. 7

Dr. Andreé Robinson-Neal is the third speaker in the 2016-2017 Distinguished Speaker Series sponsored by Cottey College’s Serenbetz Institute for Women’s Leadership, Social Responsibility, and Global Awareness. She will speak on Tuesday, February 7, at 6:30 p.m. in the Missouri Recital Hall inside the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts. Her topic is “Imagine Freely.” Members of the community are encouraged to take advantage of this free event. A reception with light refreshments will follow the address.

Andreé Robinson-Neal, Ed.D., serves the global community as a scholar-practitioner dedicated to the study of diversity in higher education. She currently works for Yorkville University and Grand Canyon University as an online faculty member. She also works virtually to support and assist her clients through consulting, editing, and ghostwriting. She also served as an administrator at Azusa Pacific University and Salem Community College. She completed her doctoral studies at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara and also completed the Fielding Graduate University “Teaching in the Virtual Classroom” program. Her research interests include but are not limited to higher education administration, community college education and administration, social networking, faith, social justice, grounded theory, diversity, redevelopment and revitalization of U.S. urban centers.

The Center for the Arts is on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri.
