Comedian Kevin Yee to Perform on Feb. 21

Comedian Kevin Yee will bring his musical humor to Cottey College on Tuesday, February 21, at 8 p.m. in Raney Dining Room.

Yee and his satirical songs have been making people around the country laugh out loud. He is a recovering Broadway chorus boy (Mary Poppins, Wicked tour, and Mamma Mia Canada) and a former member of Quincy Jones’ boy band Youth Asylum. He has been seen at the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival (headliner) as well as at festivals in Memphis, Scruffy City, Dallas, Cape Fear, San Diego, Burbank, Ventura, Sacramento and the Honolulu Sketch Festival. Recent Pride festivals include Boston (host, featuring Estelle and Mary Lambert), Washington (host), San Diego and Brooklyn. He’s also been featured in The Atlantic, Gawker, The News & Observer, The Guardian, Out magazine, Cosmopolitan, E! Online and the CBC News.

Tickets for Kevin Yee are $5 for adults and $4 for those under age 18 or over age 62. Tickets will be available at the door the evening of the performance.

Raney Dining Room is in the lower level of Robertson Hall on the southeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri. Parking is available in the lot immediately south of Robertson Hall, which is accessible from Tower Street.
