The Cottey College Department of Music is pleased to announce the following upcoming performances.
• Student music recitals, Sunday, April 23, at 3 p.m.
• Student music recitals, Monday, April 24, at 7 p.m.
• Cottey Chamber Singers spring concert, Friday, April 28, at 8 p.m.
Student recitals will feature solo performances by Cottey vocal, piano, string, woodwind, brass and percussion students.
The Chamber Singers spring concert is titled Shakespeare Songs and will feature professor of English Dr. Kathy Pivak and selected readers from the ENG 215-Shakespeare class. The Chamber Singers are under the direction of Theresa Forrester Spencer.
All performances will be in the Missouri Recital Hall of the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts. These musical performances are free and do not require tickets.
The Center for the Arts is on the northwest corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri.
Cottey College Theatre Department presents “The Sweet Science of Bruising”, November 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Auditorium on the campus of Cottey College.
