Mission

The Tutoring Center provides free, drop-in peer-led tutoring sessions to promote proactive and independent student learning. Our peer tutors facilitate learning, model academic success, and promote positive study habits.

The peer model reflects the student-centered nature of Cottey’s mission and fosters a collaborative learning environment through student-to-student interaction. It also offers a significant professional development opportunity to high-achieving undergraduate students.

Hours and Location

The Learning Center is open from 6-9 pm, Monday through Thursday, in the Kolderie Academic Assistance Center (RBAC 164).
