She is someone who I can always look to for help, whether it’s advice, money, or just someone to listen. She has always supported me in whatever I do, like sports, school, and everyday things. She spends so much more time than she needs to just to make me happy. I appreciate everything she has done for me, and there is no way I will ever be able to repay her, because all of her support throughout my life has made me confident enough to reach for my goals. Knowing that I always have someone in my corner keeps me strong.”

Why Cottey?

“I chose Cottey for multiple reasons. The most important reason was because Cottey is highly respected for their academic programs. A good education is the most important aspect for me. Second, Coach Beason and Sanders. They are both awesome. Their charisma and passion in our first meeting together made me so excited to play basketball here. Another reason was the campus itself. Coming from a small school, I was relieved at how small the class sizes were. I also knew I would enjoy being able to get across campus in less than 5 minutes. I also just loved the environment and how everyone I met on my tour was so nice. I just knew that it was a good fit from day one!”
