The Cottey-in-Motion (Co-Motion) Dance Company will hold its spring concert on Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14, in the Auditorium of the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. on Friday and at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday.
The concert will feature the dance company performing choreography by students, faculty, and a guest artist. Performances will include “Dèjá Vu” by guest artist Janie Morgan, associate professor of dance at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri, and “FenForAll” by Jenna Wurtzberger, adjunct assistant professor of dance at Cottey College. Cottey students Miranda Owens, Emily Fisher, and Susana Irigoyen have new, original dances on the program, and Cottey alumnae Rebecca Whitsett and Kasey Milton will perform Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening respectively.
The concert is free and no tickets are required.
The Center for the Arts is on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri.
