Art Adjunct

Cottey College, a private liberal arts college for women, invites applications for an adjunct faculty member in digital art and photography to teach one course each semester, beginning spring 2020. The ideal candidate should hold a master’s degree in digital design or related field or have at least five years of relevant work experience; be professionally active; and be able to demonstrate technical ability with digital photography, digital imaging, photo editing/retouching, and the creation of original images using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Preferred qualifications include college-level teaching experience, proficiency in the theories and fundamentals of Digital Art/Design, and an understanding and sensitivity toward women’s issues.

Advancement Services Specialist

Cottey College is looking for an advancement services specialist in the Office of Institutional Advancement. Position is responsible for a variety of complex and routine functions in support of Cottey College fundraising initiatives and will perform a variety of tasks in support of Cottey College development initiatives with an emphasis on donor records maintenance, research, and stewardship. Director of Marketing

Cottey College invites applications for the position of Director of Marketing.  The person in this position will lead a team charged to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing plan for the College. The Director will support and enhance college-wide marketing efforts across internal and external audiences including Enrollment Management, Institutional Advancement, Student Affairs, and Athletics.

College Math Tutor

Cottey College, a leading independent liberal arts and sciences college for women in Nevada, Missouri, invites applications for a part-time professional math tutor to serve two evenings a week in Cottey’s on-campus Learning Center. Duties include one-on-one and small group tutoring in mathematical subjects at a college level for both Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters, averaging five to eight evening hours per week while classes are in session. Candidates must be well versed in College Algebra and Calc I, with Calc II, III, and Stats a plus. Preference will be given to those who hold bachelor’s degrees or above in mathematics or a related field.
