Donald Taylor

Art

Cottey College is seeking to fill a visiting position in art beginning Fall 2020. Required qualifications: MFA or Ph.D. in art, the ability to teach Drawing, Painting, and other courses in 2-Dimensional media. The candidate should have a familiarity with a variety of media and techniques in 2D art and be professionally active with a substantial exhibition record. The candidate should also indicate a commitment to teaching as well as service to students. Preferred qualifications include post-graduate teaching experience and experience in designing curriculum. Instructional Technology Specialist

Cottey College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position of Instructional Technology Specialist. The successful candidate is responsible for supporting faculty with integrating technology into their courses, supporting faculty with developing web-based instruction for courses using the college’s learning management system and providing knowledgeable guidance to support the campus-wide use of instructional technology. The position also has responsibility to maintain the College’s website including, but not limited to, overseeing the layout, visual look, content, and developing webpages using common computer script languages.

Head Athletic Trainer

Cottey College invites applications for the position of Head Athletic Trainer. Under the general direction of the Athletic Director, the Head Athletic Trainer is a full-time, 10-month position. The successful candidate will develop, coordinate, and administer a comprehensive athletic training program.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, developing and implementing an overall sports medicine program for the College; providing athletic training services for the athletic department and activity classes; attending practices and scheduled home and away events as necessary; coordinating and scheduling physical examinations and medical referrals for student-athletes; and assisting the Athletic Director in the development of the budget for the athletic training program. Some evening and weekend hours are required.

Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization with a Master’s degree and one to three years of related experience preferred. Enrollment Counselor

12 Months, Full Time 

Cottey College seeks an Enrollment Counselor to assist students in making informed college decisions through relationship building activities, disseminating information about Cottey through large and small group presentations, phone counseling, and individual interactions. The successful candidate will be a primary point of contact and an informational resource to prospective students, their families and area guidance counselors. The position requires extensive travel, after-hours work, and work on select holidays and weekends.
