The Cottey College Department of Dance will present its fall concert on Friday-Sunday, November 22-24. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The performances will be held in the Auditorium of the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts. The concert is free and no tickets are required.

Titled Inner Nature: A Dance Concert Inspired by the Poetry of Mary Oliver, the concert will feature the Cottey-in-Motion Dance Company presenting a collection of dances performed to and motivated by the poetry of Mary Oliver, who explores the intersection of human-ness and the natural world in her work. On the program are dance works created by students, faculty, and guest artist alumna Emily Schaefer. The company is under the direction of Professor Jo Byrnes.

The Center for the Arts is located on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri.
