Students in the Organizational Leadership major at Cottey College invite the public to a Leadership Expo and REAL Talk event on Wednesday, November 13, at 6 p.m. in the Missouri Recital Hall. The event is free and no tickets are required.

The Leadership Expo will highlight student work from the semester with recognition of Nevada/Vernon County women leaders and sneak previews into the “campus expert projects” designed by students to develop members of the community (Cottey and beyond). The highlight of the evening will begin at 6:30, with REAL Talk, which aims to Recognize Empowered, Authentic Leadership. Senior capstone students will reflect and share their most important leadership lessons using a TED-type talk. Catherine Nolan’s subject is Finding Your Tribe: Community, Vulnerability & Change. Grace Diaz’s subject is Servant Leadership: The Hidden Figures of Cottey College.

The Recital Hall is inside the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri.
