Cottey College is pleased to announce the inauguration of Dr. Stefanie D. Niles as the 13th president of the College. The Inauguration weekend will take place from March 31 to April 2.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 1, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with the Capping and Processional on the Steps of Main Hall, followed by the Investiture Ceremony at 2:30 p.m. at the Haidee and Alan Wild Center for the Arts. Following the Investiture Ceremony, a Celebration will occur at 4:00 p.m. at the Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Campus Life. In addition, the Investiture Ceremony will be live-streamed on Cottey’s Youtube channel.
Dr. Niles brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to women’s education to her role as president of Cottey College. Dr. Niles became President at Cottey on July 1, 2022. The inauguration ceremony is a significant milestone at the College and offers an opportunity for the campus community to gather and celebrate the next chapter in Cottey’s history.
