The first step in repaying your loans is to determine your student loan provider.
The federal government has many companies it works with to provide and service loans.
Which Loan Repayment Plan Am I In?
Don’t remember which student loan repayment plan you’re in?
You can find it by logging into your account on studentaid.gov or by logging into your loan servicer’s portal.
Avoid Scams
Some borrowers report receiving communications, including phone calls, text messages, emails, and letters, offering them relief from their student loans.
Many of these companies are scams that offer no relief at all.
