Cottey College is pleased to welcome David Heringer to the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management. Heringer comes from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. He has a Master of Management from the University of Mary in North Dakota and a Bachelor of Science with double majors in Business Administration and Sociology/Anthropology from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana.
“I am honored to be chosen as the Vice President for Enrollment Management at Cottey College, and am looking forward to working with Dr. Weitzel and her leadership team,” Heringer said. “Cottey is a special place that is blessed with outstanding faculty and staff who are committed to student growth and success.”
“Dave Heringer brings with him many years of experience in admissions, financial aid, retention, enrollment management, international recruitment, and market strategy and development,” said Dr. Jann Weitzel, president of Cottey College. “He uses data-driven practices coupled with interpersonal skills and a genuine caring attitude toward colleagues, students, and their families.”
The Enrollment Management Office is responsible for finding and recruiting prospective students and assisting those students with the admission process, from submitting an application to maximizing their financial aid.
Heringer began his duties with Cottey on June 24.
