Full ArticleThe Cottey College Department of Music will host a Music Concert at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, in the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts. The performance is free and no tickets are required.
The concert will feature the Cottey College Wind Ensemble, with a guest performance by the Cottey College Chamber Singers. The Wind Ensemble performance will include “Disney Film Favorites” arr. Johnnie Vinson, “March Jubiloso” by Darren Jenkins, “River of Life” by Steven Reineke and more. The Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Jackie Lordo and Prof. Gary Johnson. The Chamber Singers are under the direction of Prof. Theresa Spencer.
The Center for the Arts is located on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri.
