If I were a Cottey student today… I would suggest taking the chance to get involved with various campus activities! There is always something going on, from long-standing traditions like Late Night Breakfast, to R.A. events such as self-care “Mask and Mingle”, to impromptu study time in Chellie Club with friends!

Favorite spot on campus? The meditation rooms in the Chapel or the hammock garden.

What sets Cottey apart from other colleges and universities? Cottey is a great little community where you have space to bloom into the best version of yourself. The confidence you gain here is incredible – it’s all about growing together with amazing peers and faculty who are there to support you, cheer you on, and gently hold you accountable along the way!

Best place to visit around Nevada? Radio Springs Park for a scenic walk or cozy picnic.

If I were a Cottey student… I would ensure I took every opportunity I had. You lose 100% of the shots you don’t take, and with a community like Cottey that wants you to succeed, your chances of success are already so much higher.

Favorite spot on campus? The library

What sets Cottey apart from other colleges and universities? Cottey is unique in that it offers a chance for students to not feel intimidated in a classroom. Professors are much more accessible and that one-on-one time for help is so beneficial. The small class sizes allow for not only great relationships with fellow students but professors as well.

If I were a Cottey student today… I would take advantage of as many opportunities offered on campus as I could. Events, activities, seminars, and clubs would all be on my radar.

Favorite spot on campus? Anywhere outside when the weather is nice! Although, my absolute favorite place to study was the top floor of the library at a desk in front of the window facing Austin Blvd.

What sets Cottey apart from other colleges and universities? The small community of Cottey makes a world of difference! It’s really easy to make friends and get help from professors.

If I were a Cottey student today… I would suggest taking the chance to get involved with the campus activities! There is always something going on, from campus traditions like step-sing to grocery bingo and fun little student-hosted events like creating your own stress balls.

Favorite spot on campus? The library or the relaxation room upstairs in the wellness center!

What sets Cottey apart from other colleges and universities? Cottey stands out from other colleges or universities because it has the distinct mission of supporting women’s leadership and education. It also has a great supportive community and helps you grow into the person you want to become!
