JULIE TIETZ, PH.D.

Professor of Psychology

Dr. Julie Tietz received her B.A. in psychology from Rice University, her M.A. (1995) in experimental psychology, and her Ph.D. (1998) in developmental psychology from Texas Tech University.

In 2001, Dr. Tietz joined the faculty at Cottey College in the department of psychology. She is a member of the following professional organizations: the Southwestern Psychological Association; the Society for the Teaching of Psychology; and APA Division 35, Psychology of Women. Her teaching interests include human development, gender and sexuality studies, and positive psychology.
