KRISTINA ADAMS, PH.D.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR & COORDINATOR OF SECONDARY EDUCATION
Dr. Kristina Adams, Ph.D of Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum from the University of Oklahoma, teaches Foundations of Education, Literacy Across the Content Areas, Teaching in Secondary Schools, Classroom Management, Literacy Interventions, Field Experience I and II, Teaching Methods, and she is the College supervisor for Student Teaching.

Dr. Adams comes to Cottey with a variety of educational experiences having taught science in public schools for 18 years and providing professional development to teachers in over 256 schools for two years across the state of Oklahoma.
Prior to arriving at Cottey College in the fall of 2018, Dr. Adams was the secondary education coordinator at St. Gregory’s University where she taught middle level education, methods, educational technology, students teaching seminar. She also taught in the math, science, and psychology divisions teaching physics, earth science, environmental science, elementary mathematics, history of science, and tests and measurement. She also taught for twelve years as an adjunct professor of College Physics I and II at Oklahoma City Community College.
