Full ArticleIn response to SAT and ACT testing sites closing across the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cottey College will waive the SAT/ACT requirement for fall 2020 admission consideration. The College will now be test-optional, meaning students may choose to submit test scores if they have them, but applications from students without test scores will be considered for admission.
“We want our future students to be safe and practice social distancing while the global community deals with the outbreak of COVID-19,” said Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing, Dave Heringer. “Cottey has a history of doing what’s in the best interest of its students. We are here to work with current and future students and their families as they further their education during this challenging time.
“The 2020 freshman class is shaping up nicely at Cottey College. We are looking forward to meeting the students on campus and getting them acclimated to the Cottey experience.
