Nevada, MO – Cottey College is pleased to announce the addition of three new sports to its athletic program. The Cottey College Board of Trustees has approved the allocation of funds for Competitive Dance, Competitive Cheerleading, and Bowling programs.
“We are delighted to announce the addition of these programs to our athletic offerings,” said President Dr. Stefanie Niles. “We are committed to empowering women through sports and ensuring equal opportunities for all our students, and the addition of these sports will continue to further that mission.”
The college aims to have these sports fully prepared and ready for competition starting in the fall of 2024. In preparation for the launch, Cottey College will begin hiring searches for coaches.
