Cody Page, Ph.D.
Dr. Page earned his Bachelor of Humanities in communication from the Pennsylvania State University,
his Master of Arts in educational theatre for colleges and communities from New York University
Steinhardt, and his Ph.D. in Theatre with a Graduate Certificate in performance studies from New York
University.
His research focuses on methods of Theatre for Social Change that can be applied to scripted
theatrical performance and the ways in which theatre can create moments of utopian promise and
understanding within audiences. Additional areas of research include: queer representation and queer
theatre, performance through a lens of popular culture, and performance through table-top role-playing
games.
Dr. Page is a theatre practitioner spanning the realms of director, intimacy choreographer, actor, props
maker, and various other roles that need fulfilled for production.
