Program Description

Courses for the minor in writing primarily focus on familiarizing students with the foundations of rhetorical theory, the expectations of successful academic writing, and strategies for effective research. Students will come to see writing as more than just composing text but rather engaging in robust rhetorical situations across a variety of genres and modes.
