Cottey College will host its 8th Annual Multicultural Festival and International Bazaar on Sunday, November 5, from 4:30–6:30 p.m., in Hinkhouse Gymnasium. The festival is created by Cottey College faculty, students, and staff as a way to highlight world cultures, celebrate diversity, and strengthen the connection between Cottey College and the local communities.
This year’s event will feature a buffet of international foods prepared by Cottey students, staff, and faculty; performances showcasing international cultures including music, dance, and traditional clothing; educational displays; a photo booth; and much more.
Hinkhouse Gymnasium is located one block south of Austin Boulevard on the west side of the street. Parking is conveniently located in the parking lot west of the building, which can be accessed via Tower Street.
There is no charge to enter the festival, but for those who wish to eat from the international buffet, tickets are $9 for adults and $7 for ages twelve and under. Children three and under get in free. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
