CAROL CLYDE, ED.D.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP
Dr. Clyde has a Bachelor of Science in Corporate and Professional Speech Communications from Radford University; a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University; a Master of Education in Educational Policy, Planning & Leadership from The College of William and Mary and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. She has taught at Western Kentucky University, Southern Methodist University, Lynn University, Grand Canyon University and Florida Atlantic University.
In addition to her passion for leadership studies and community engagement, Dr. Clyde is a competitive billiards player and is a lead facilitator for Kiwanis International’s Key Leader High School Leadership program. Dr. Clyde is also very active in the community as a member of the Nevada City Council, Nevada Police VIPS (Volunteers In Police Service), and Vernon County CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). Dr. Clyde loves to travel (she has visited 48 states and 12 countries) and enjoys (somewhat) peaceful time at home with her furry menagerie (4 dogs, 2 cats, and a bird).
