The Cottey College Department of Theatre is busy creating a Dungeons and Dragon World for the upcoming production of SHE KILLS MONSTERS by Qui Nguyen on Friday and Saturday, February 22-23, in the Auditorium of the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts. The curtain will rise at 8 p.m. both evenings.
Everywhere you look there are monsters that need slaying. Unfortunately some of them get the best of you while you get the best of others. The roll of the die is random. It’s brutal. It’s fierce and that’s why some people need to decompress in a friendly game of Dungeons and Dragons.
Tilly may be 15 but growing up involves adult situations, adult language, and behaviors with which everyone may not approve. Dungeons and Dragons may be a game, but this play is about struggling through life and it is not appropriate for children.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for those under age 18 or over age 62. Tickets will be available at the door the evenings of the performance.
